Patricia Ann Cargill Charities – PACC

Our Story

A legacy of care. A mission built to last.

FOUNDED IN LOVE.

BUILT ON DIGNITY.

DRIVEN BY COMMUNITY.

PATRICIA ANN CARGILL

It Started With One Woman’s Heart

Patricia Ann Cargill believed no one should go hungry.

She fed people with her own resources and her own hands, even while fighting aggressive cancer. Through treatment, weakness, and exhaustion, she continued to serve. Her compassion wasn’t seasonal. It wasn’t convenient. It was consistent. She showed people what love looks like in action.

In 2022, her son Donte Cargill founded Patricia Ann Cargill Charities to carry that legacy forward. What began as personal generosity has grown into a structured, community-centered organization serving families across Northeast Ohio.

This organization exists to ensure Patricia’s heart continues to show up in real ways. Every week. For every family.

OUR TEAM

The Family Behind the Mission

Patricia Ann Cargill Charities is led by Donte, his wife Lola, and their children Maurea, Dalyah, and Irelyn — Patricia’s grandchildren — who are committed to continuing the work she began. This is more than an organization built in her name. It is a legacy carried forward by family.

Our Vision

Why we serve differently

Patricia Ann Cargill fed people from her own kitchen. Even while battling aggressive cancer, she made sure others didn’t go hungry. Her generosity wasn’t performative. It was simply who she was. Today, her legacy lives on through a structured organization built on love, excellence, and a commitment to serve with dignity.

1. We provide nourishment with dignity and choice — every single Wednesday.

2. We remove barriers so every family feels welcomed, not processed.

3. We build pathways toward long-term stability through education and empowerment.
